For Car Buyers, Longtime Favorite Silver Pales In Comparison To New Top Color

If you believe a recent survey, 40 percent of potential buyers say that color is a major consideration.
And what color do they prefer?
In North America last year, white or pearl white soared to the top of the list, ending a seven-year run by silver, according to DuPont's 2007 Automotive Color Popularity Report, which the company has published since 1953.
Silver came in second and black was third. Red rose to fourth from sixth in 2006.
