For some, DKNY's latest marketing campaign crosses a delicate line. Several bikes have been painted Tony-the-Tiger Orange and placed throughout the city in an effort to highlight the brand and encourage New Yorkers to explore their city on two wheels. Many see the initiative as too distastefully close to installations from the Ghost Bike memorials, which are bicycles painted white and left throughout the city to commemorate cyclists who have lost their lives while riding.
